Under leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Government is dedicated to improving living standards of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and other impoverished sections of society
Chandigarh : The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is committed to enhancing the quality of life for Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and other marginalized groups. Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities Minister, Dr. Baljit Kaur, stated that Rs. 3 crore have been allocated for the construction of Dr. B.R Ambedkar Bhawan in Tarn Taran.
Providing further details, Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, stated that Rs. 3 crore have been released for the establishment of Baba Sahib Dr. B. R Ambedkar Bhawan in Tarn Taran district. She also mentioned that the necessary land has already been acquired for this purpose.
The Cabinet Minister emphasized that the Government’s plan includes the establishment of Dr. B.R Ambedkar Bhawans in each district, ensuring that the people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and other impoverished sections have access to various facilities under one roof.
Minister instructed the department’s officials to maintain transparency and uphold quality standards in government projects while strictly adhering to financial regulations for the construction of Dr. B.R Ambedkar Bhawan in Tarn Taran district.
